I think the reading suggest that everyone has the possibility for acheiving the american dream. I think at first people thought that anyone could attain the american dream but I think that once they came here they realized the truth. However I do think that they never gave up. The Japanese wanted their children to grow up and have a better life and make them always acheive for somthing better.
